The girl with her stethoscope Part 1

Everyone was buzzing with excitement ; except me . It was November 2022 , the last day of my high school . After sitting for my last paper , I did not go out from class to celebrate the semester break just like everyone else did . I preferred to stay in class and packed things at my place . While packing , I took a glance at my average-sized gift box under the desk . It was full with letters that he sent to me . Everytime I was not in the class , he will come and left his letters inside it . I went through all the letters pathetically as today he will leave me for a long time untill God allowed us to be together again . 

The person that I meant was Gale . He will pursue his study in medicine . He was so passionate about his dream to become a doctor . Gale was my senior . We became close friend since I was his coworker in few school events . After packing up my stuffs , Gale came to me and we both bid goodbye . Tears streaming down through my browny cheeks as soon as he left . I wished to see Gale again in another day ; or perharps in another life .

I consulted my watch and it showed 12.00 p.m .  " I should be at home right now ," murmured me . I should not be here because my shift  should be over by now . There were lots of cases which forced me to spend  the whole night at ED ( Emergency Department ) . Hours later , I took off my white coat ; sat at my place and exhaled spontaneously . " Its a great day , " I said to myself . Then , a nurse approached and handed me over a white envelope with my name written on it . " Doctor , this is your letter . The mailman sent this at noon but I didn't had the chance to meet you ," she told me . 

Slowly , I unfolded the letter and it read :

Dear Prim ,

It's been a long time since the last time we met . I hope you are just fine . How was your ED ? Here , we got one lovely-super-strict specialist . She'd really reminded me of you ! haha . I'm joking !  Somebody's going to continue her postgraduate study , so I would like to take you out to dinner on cruise * hehe*  Here is the ticket . See you there !                                                                    

Your one and only thief , 

Gale 

Unkowingly , I smiled . " Yes Gale , I will be continuing my post study ," murmured me . After that , I drove home

I wore merely beautiful that night . A sky blue silk dress with a pair of white stiletto . We were happy that night . I secretly admitted that I miss him a lot . I don't know how I started to fall for him . He had this trustworthy aura and such a virtue personality . I found this kind of undescribable serenity when I'm with him . My admiration towards him continued when we became close friends since we both were in the same course . Ya , I've forgotten to tell you , medicine is also my passion . Don't you see there was some mystery connection between us here ? hmm . I hope so . haha .                                         

" I'm so glad I could meet you again . You know , I really didn't expect that we had gone through this far ," He said to me . " Ya , me too Gale . Too much hardships and predicaments . I'm thankful to have you . You are one of the reason that keep me going through all these while , thank you " I replied weakly . I don't know why when it comes to my  life journey I was so pathetic about it . It was not that easy to get here , to become who I am right now . Thank to God for allowing me to achieve my dream . 

" Prim , I need to tell you something ,"
